There is a big difference between localizing courseware and localizing regular documentation and software. Courseware is designed to make it easier and more intuitive for end users to learn knowledge and skills.
So seemingly simple courseware is often the platform for showing the latest technology. Therefore, localizing courseware will involve more resources.

Quality Assurance
 
Check Version
  • Whether the latest version is used in the framework
 
Check Content
  • Whether all content has been localized
 
Check Interfaces
  • Whether the localized interfaces still adapt to Chinese content (size of interface dialog box, if the Chinese is completely displayed, etc.)
  •  
    Functional Check
    • Whether the courseware still functions normally after being localized (such as search, index, etc.)
     
    Check Components Called
    • Whether each component called inside the framework needs to be adjusted
     
    Check Scripts
  • Whether the recording matches the corresponding script file
  •  
    Check UI Vocabulary
    • Whether UI vocabulary on interfaces mentioned in recording is read correctly
     
    Check Operating Functions
    • When checking UI vocabulary, also check if the recording has been adjusted accordingly to reflect operational difference of learning objects after localization
     
    Check Sound Effects
    • Whether neighboring sentences in sound recordings obviously vary from each other in sound effect
     
    Check Time Control
    • Whether the duration of sound recording varies from that of the source dramatically
     
    Check Synchronization Issues
    • Sounds and highlighted parts of pictures (red frame, etc.) need to be synchronized, and so do sounds and operations.
     
    Check Functional Issues
    • Steps involved in the presentation should be in the correct order, and they should actually be realized in learning objects.
     
    Check Interface Issues
    • Content described by sounds should correspond to interfaces, especially when UI parts are involved. It should be checked against the source file when there are inconsistencies.
     
    Check Pictures
    • Whether a picture shakes or flashes when a description involves a series of pictures
     
    Check Detailed Elements
    • When there is an example button action in the image, does the button change accordingly and is the mouse position correct
