Efforts to combat epidemic continued: Join Glodom and help the rest of the world learn from experience of China!
The battle has reached its most critical moment, and the situation of Hubei, epicenter of the outbreak, has always pulled at heartstrings of every Glodom employee. Following donating the first batch of medical supplies, Glodom people responded again to the call of the state by joining the anti-epidemic team to bring China's experience in combating the novel coronavirus to the rest of the world.
Since the outbreak of the virus, people throughout China have been rushing to make donations in cash and kind to help battle the outbreak. In this war without smoke, Glodom undertakes its social responsibility by doing its bit. On February 11, the first batch of 20 boxes of medical supplies, totaling 8,000 pairs of medical gloves, arrived at Xiaogan and were put into use.
With unremitting efforts throughout the whole country, China's situation has been improving day by day. However, the virus starts to spread worldwide. In order to help those affected globally, CloudTranslation, a subsidiary of Glodom, has set up an anti-epidemic translation team, collecting on a daily basis the experience and methods of China for handling the novel coronavirus. Mobilizing its highly experienced translators with expertise in medical fields and other volunteers within the organization, the team is to translate, edit and post the information that it finds valuable to combat the outbreak on LinkedIn, Facebook and other foreign social media. The valuable information contains effective epidemic prevention news and measures.
